The River Dart Country Park is inspected annually by the AA, Dartmoor Tourist Association and Visit Britain and are rated 4 pennants by the organisations. We are regularly featured in The Top 100 Sites in the UK, by readers of Practical Caravan magazine and we believe that our location and surroundings make us the perfect base for your Devon holiday.

Set within mature parkland and bordered by woodland, our touring site has generous, neat and individually marked and numbered pitches. In addition to the well appointed site, we have a Park Shop which stocks everyday requirements from newspapers to groceries, meat for the BBQ as well as emergency camping requirements from torches to toothbrushes! Our three well maintained facility blocks have free hot showers, washing up facilities, disabled facilities and coin operated laundry rooms.

Free use of all park facilities!

All persons staying on-site have free use of all park facilities including River Dart Adventures, and the tennis courts. (Dare Devils not included).

The Old Sawmill cafe bar provides a fresh and inviting place to eat, drink and unwind! It is also connected by Wi-Fi to the internet for those who insist on working whilst on holiday.

Our touring site offers the following, most of which one would expect from a quality site;-

All pitch areas served by access roads with local water and rubbish points.
Modern, well-equipped amenity blocks, with free hot water and showers.
Electric hook-up points available.
Hard standing pitches available. (please request when booking)
Facilities for disabled and young families.
Covered washing up areas.
Laundry rooms. (coin operated)
Dedicated campsite wardens.
Secure barrier entry system.
Recycling facilities.
Well behaved pets welcome, must be kept on a lead at all times. (max of 2 dogs)

We are a family site and as such expect our customers to respect their neighbours. We do operate a quiet time after 11pm and request that you read and follow our site rules set out in our terms and conditions.

If you are looking for late nights and wild parties, we would politely suggest you find an alternative venue!
